Please note that we offer a lower Hourly rate for driving hours on long distance jobs. Second, Figure out how much stuff you have and how long its going to take to move it. Take Cubic feet inventory Divide the total by 240 cubic feet of useable cargo space in the van this should give you a fraction 1/4, 1/2 or full van load
Example # 1 - 1/4 Van load) A quarter of a van is probably going to take under 2 hours unless it involves 2 - 5 story walkups. We have a minimum of 2 hours for all jobs.
Example #2 - 1/2 Van load) Half a van usually takes 45 minutes to load and 25 minutes to unload with 1 flight of stairs (each extra flight of stairs add 15 minutes). Go to mapquest and see how long it takes to drive to your new place. Formula Ballpark estimate= Total time x $45/hr = man with van charge or (Total time x .70) x $75/hr for 2 men with van charge
Example #3 - Full Van) A full van usually takes 1:30 to 2 hours to load and 45 - 1 hour to unload with 1 flight of stair. Go to mapquest to see how long it takes to drive to your new place.
